KCESD 6 is a fully funded emergency services district providing fire protection, rescue operations, and medical response for residents in the unincorporated areas outside Forney. We serve families and businesses across our community, ensuring professional, reliable coverage for emergencies ranging from structure fires and vehicle accidents to medical calls and rural incidents.
2026 Tax Rate Information
Kaufman County ESD No. 6 adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year’s tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 14.02 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $6.60.
